Day Thirty: Kindergarten Graduation
My youngest daughter graduated from kindergarten today. She was so happy and so excited. Hopefully she will stay that way about school. You hear a lot of people say, “they grow up quick”. I have to agree, my kids are awesome and I want nothing but the best for them.
Day Twenty Nine: The Phoenix
My oldest Phoenix. She’s so cool. Sitting here, chatting it up with daddy. Telling me about all the things she wants to do, what she did today, what happened on “Glee”, and how much she loves me. We frequently sit down on Sundays together and talk over a few cups of coffee. It’s something I hope will last forever, but I know it will come to and end all too soon. I cherish this time with her and I hope she will remember happy memories of her dad after I am gone.

Day Twenty Seven: Pool Fun
The little yard pool was set up today. The kids had an absolute blast. Jumping and splashing, running and sliding while the pool was filling up. I don’t think the kids could have had a better time on a hot day. The air filled with giggles and the sounds of splashing about. As adults we often forget how much fun can be had doing the simplest things.
Day Twenty Six: Floating Lanterns
Today was my ex-wife Ashley’s wedding. Im not 100% sure on the what the symbolism of the lanterns is exactly. But I see it as the start of a new beginning, floating off into the unknown together, not knowing where the winds of change will take them. She found a great guy and she is very happy. He’s great to my kids and I enjoy talking to and hanging out with him. My ex-wife is a great mother and an all around good woman. I’m glad I can call her a friend even tho we get on each others nerves now and then. It’s a little weird, not in a bad way or anything, but I’ve never had an ex-wife get married before. I’m very happy for them. I think they are a perfect couple and I hope they have many years of happiness together.
Day Twenty Five: Anniversary
Today was our anniversary. I’m so happy I found a fantastic woman that puts up with me. Because… I’m a fucking weirdo. We have our moments of strife and anger, but we always talk about our problems and are very open with one another. She’s smart, beautiful, and all around amazing. I’m glad she’s in my life and I hope she is for years to come.
Day Twenty Four: Asshole Dog
I love this dog, but she is a complete fucking asshole. She goes out of her way to do things to piss me off. Today I took her out, she did her business just fine, and then came in and pissed on the floor… Staring at me thinking “yeah, fuck you”. She chews too loud, smells, perches like a vulture on the back of the couch, mauls people, barks at the tiniest squeak when you have a hangover, eats twenty pounds of peanut butter making a guttural pig sound while doing it, walks to loudly, and pisses every time anyone touches her. However… she is super sweet, loves children, cuddles you while you are sleeping, loves to play around, and is an all around good dog.
Day Twenty Three: Wednesday Night
Every Wednesday my friends and me get together at one of our local “hole in the wall” bars and enjoy each others company. We drink some yellow beer and talk about a large array of topics. From politics to religion, from video games to music, or whatever else crosses our minds. It’s great to sit down with those you call friends and simply enjoy their company. I’m thankful for my friends and wouldn’t be the same without them
Day Twenty Two: Bocci Ball
A very unique game. If you are unfamiliar with it. You throw a small weighted ball and then throw a much larger ball and whoever is closer wins. I played today with my brother, ex-wife, and her fiancé. Very enjoyable and I recommend it for people that wish to play a simple game outside with friends or family.
